Spiritual Care & Life Enrichment
As a faith-based organization, Baruch Senior Ministries integrates residents’ physical care with emotional and spiritual care: recognizing both as an essential aspect of a resident’s life. For this reason, the Spiritual Care Team offers compassionate, personalized spiritual care in accordance with each resident’s spiritual beliefs and practices.
LIFE ENRICHMENT
Feeling at home means participating in activities you enjoy and celebrating life’s significant moments. Our Life Enrichment team plans meaningful and engaging activities for our residents to enjoy, from daily scheduled activities to special events. Our team also works with volunteers to connect residents with the local community.
This may include:
- Visits from local school children
- Movie matinees
- Games
- Arts & crafts
- Chair exercises
- Music therapy
- Pet therapy
- Local musician performances
- Field trips to local attractions
- Family picnics
- Resident birthday parties
- Christmas tree lighting ceremonies
- Bake sales
- Singing & worship

Spiritual Care
Baruch’s Spiritual Care Team embodies the mission of Baruch Senior Ministries by caring for the spiritual needs of residents, families, and staff. Our staff dedicates their time to others through individual visits, leading worship, and displaying a sustained sense of love in our homes. Our chaplains seek to empower staff to use their gifts to bless residents and their families. The Spiritual Care Team also partners with local faith groups to provide ongoing spiritual support for residents.
Our Spiritual Care Program may include:
- Chaplain services to residents, families, and staff
- Regular chaplain visits to each assisted living home
- One-on-one visits with residents
- Worship services
- Coordination with local faith groups for ongoing spiritual support
- End-of-life spiritual support
They are a great Christian environment with prayer before meals and activities going for the residents. They like to incorporate the families for fun events which makes for great family bonding.

The lifetime promise
As part of its mission, Baruch has The Lifetime Promise that provides reduced costs to qualified residents based on their individual monthly income. This program is entirely confidential, and assures that a resident will remain in the community with an equal level of care and never be asked to leave due to personal financial circumstances.
