Carrie joined The Horizon Senior Living team in July 2021 after working at Covenant Healthcare for over 11 years. She spent most of her years there working in the Emergency Care Center which is a fast-paced environment, but decided during the COVID-19 pandemic that she needed a career change. Carrie is passionate about making the final years count. She attended Ross Medical Education Center to obtain her Medical Assistant Certification and she is currently working on her Level One Administrator Certification through Senior Living University. Carrie plans to keep moving forward with her education. Carrie aims to provide quality, compassionate care to her residents and a wonderful place for staff to work. In her free time, Carrie enjoys camping with her family and watching her children during their sporting events. She also loves to read, loves quotes, and loves helping others.
