Jere Green
Administrator

Jere was employed at Sunnyside Assisted Living since the Grand Opening in 2009, working initially as a Resident Care Specialist. In September of 2009, she accepted the position of Resident Care Manager and then became Associate Administrator in March of 2011. In October of 2011, she accepted the position of Administrator of Sunnyside Assisted Living. In August of 2018, she became administrator of Cherry Hill Haven of Traverse City, Cherry Hill Haven of Kalkaska, and Effie’s Place in Leland. She is a CNA and currently holds an Assisted Living Administrator Certification through Senior Living University. Jere is passionate about her work and has found that helping seniors is the most rewarding work she has ever done. Jere Green was born and raised in the greater Cadillac area, graduating from Manton High School. Jere currently resides in Manton with her husband, Steve. Jere looks forward to many more years of service to her community as well as the Baruch family.

Lisa Teglas
Associate Administrator

Cherry Hill Haven and Effie's Place welcomed Lisa Teglas as Associate Administrator at the beginning of 2023. Lisa is a 2008 graduate of Grand Valley State University and she holds a Masters Degree in Social Work with an emphasis in Gerontology. Her previous employment with the Alzheimer's Association as Program Coordinator/Educator will be an added support to Cherry Hill's exceptional caregivers, residents, and their families, as they navigate the journey through dementia. Lisa works to ensure all Cherry Hill Haven homes continue to meet the high standard of care. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, which includes, her husband, daughters, and seven grandchildren.
