Baruch Senior Ministries seeks to honor God by serving people as they age.
About Baruch Senior Ministries
Established in 1997, Baruch Senior Ministries is a faith-based nonprofit organization currently operating 26 assisted living communities throughout the state of Michigan. Our focus in each community is to create a compassionate and loving environment where seniors can make a lasting home. As we grow, our model and dedication to care continue to build new affiliations with other senior living communities across the state.
Why the name Baruch?
“I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.”
– Jeremiah 33:6
This is God’s promise as written in Jeremiah, and we seek to carry out that promise today among senior and disabled citizens in our communities. As Jeremiah’s disciple and scribe, Baruch served as an instrument for assuring God’s people would never be abandoned. Just as he remained selflessly true to his charge, Baruch Senior Ministries promises to uphold its commitment to provide seniors, disabled friends, and neighbors with housing, care, and programs that nourish their body and soul.
Baruch continues to grow, acquiring Hyde Park Assisted Living and Living Joy, both in Flushing, MI. Baruch also acquires Effie’s Place in Leland, MI.
Baruch acquires Mallard Cove of Petoskey. Baruch hires a Financial Analyst, a Special Projects Director, a Vice President of Advancement, and a Vice President of Finance. Baruch celebrates 20 years of serving.
Mitch McNeal accepts the position of President; Tom Nobel continues his service to Baruch as Founder and CEO. Two additional Regional Operations Directors are hired.
